9. Anti-splinter insert
Splinter guard should be used when trying to minimize tear-out and making
fine, finish cuts(with the right blade), especially when cutting finished Surfaces
(such as paint) or Veneer. Splinter guard should be installed into the base
(aluminum) or the base plastic cover.

10. Dust extraction

Align the adapter hook on the dust adapter with the hole on the rear of the base(aluminum),
then attach the dust adapter to the base(aluminum) as shown.
Attach to the dust adapter and vacuum cleaner hose, when cutting in dust-sensitive areas,
such as computer rooms and medical facilities, or elsewhere to keep the work area clean.
11. Hex wrench storage
HEX WRENCH STORAGE
1. Secure the supplied hex wrench at the bottom of the housing as shown. Push it into place.
2. Remove the hex wrench by pulling it free.
