If the engine does not start after another 5 or 6 attempts, see "Troubleshooting".
Rapid retraction of the starter rope (recoil) will pull the operator's hand and arm toward the engine faster
than he can let go of it. This can cause broken bones, fractures, bruises, or sprains.
3.3.3. Engine stoppage
To stop the engine, simply turn the engine switch to the OFF position.
The trimmer head will continue to rotate for a few seconds after the engine stops.
