SAFETY

Read these instructions through carefully
before switching on/using the appliance
and always keep the instructions in the
immediate vicinity of where the appliance
is installed or on the appliance
Warning

Failure to observe the safety instructions
and notices can lead to electric shock, fire
and/or serious injury.
Keep all safety instructions and
information for the future.
The appliance can be used by children
from 8 years and by persons with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capacity,
or those with no experience and/or
knowledge of it, if they are supervised or
have been instructed in the safe use of
the appliance and understand the hazards
associated with it.
Children must not play with the appliance.
Cleaning and user-servicing may not
be carried out by children without
supervision.
Warning
Children under 3 must be kept away
unless they are under continuous
supervision.
Children between 3 and 8 may only switch
the appliance on and off if they are being
supervised or have been instructed
about safe use of the appliance and the
associated dangers, provided that the
appliance is placed and installed in its
normal place.
Children between 3 and 8 may not push
the plug into the socket, adjust the
appliance, clean the appliance or carry
out user-servicing.
Warning
Do not use the appliance in small rooms
if there are people in it who cannot leave
the room independently and are not under
constant supervision.
• Do not operate the appliance in room
where there is a risk of explosion.
• Allow the appliance to dry after wet
cleaning. Do not operate it while it is
wet.
• Do not use or operate the appliance
with damp or wet hands.
• Do not expose the appliance to a
direct stream of water.
• Never push objects or limbs into the
appliance.
• Do not cover the appliance during
operation and do not move it.
• Do not remove any safety notices,
stickers or labels from the appliance.
Maintain all safety notices, stickers
and labels in a legible condition.
• Do not sit on the appliance.
• The appliance is not a toy. Keep
children and animals away. Only use
the appliance under supervision.
• Check the appliance, its accessories,
and connections for possible damage.
Do not use the appliance if it, or parts
of it, are damaged.
• Ensure that all electrical cable outside
the appliance is protected against
damage (e.g. by animals). Never use
the appliance if the electrical cables or
mains connection are damaged.
• The electrical connection must comply
with the specifications in the Technical
Data chapter.
• Plug the mains lead into a correctly
fused socket.
• Select extensions of the mains cable
according to the appliance power,
the cable length, and the intended
purpose. Completely unwind the
extension cable. Avoid electrical
overload.
• Remove the plug from the mains
socket before servicing, care, or repair
work on the appliance, holding it by
the plug.
