- If you have not used the coffee machine for one day, you have to flush
the machine with fresh water before you use the machine again (see
section 'Flushing' in chapter 'Cleaning').
- Descale the SENSEO coffee machine as described in chapter

'Descaling' when the CALC light goes on (after you have brewed
approx. 400 cups of SENSEO
SENSEO coffee machine more often (every 3 months) in the same
®
way. Descaling takes 20 to 30 minutes. Do not interrupt the descaling
process.
