PROGRAMMING
The hMIU V2 is delivered preconfigured. After its plugged onto the UltraMaXX/
RF
UltraLite, it automatically uploads all required data from the thermal energy meter.
Frequent upload updates assure highest accuracy of data memorized in
the hMIU V2. Each hMIU
RF
hMIU V2 and the thermal energy meter are configured. Information on the
RF
hMIU V2 can be read and recorded over at any time. The inductive interface
RF
serves to quickly and accurately parameterize and read data via the computer
using an inductive head. The inductive head is connected to the computer by
USB and has an attachment to position it on the hMIU
READING AND PROGRAMMING THE MODULE
After the hMIU V2 has been read via the inductive interface, the entry form for
RF
the parameters becomes available. The programming parameters, which are
activated by the administrator, can be selected and overwritten with new values.
These changes are adopted in the hMIU
begins. Other hMIU V2 values and parameters can be read from the various

selection fields.

CAUTION: Programming the hMIU
UltraMaXX/UltraLite parameters!
The following programming parameters are possible:
• Setting the radio mode:
- EquaScan V2 (single encryption and bidirectional);
- EquaScan Retrofit (master encryption and bidirectional);
- OMS (single encryption and unidirectional)
CAUTION: As standard, the hMIU
EquaScan V2 radio mode
• Setting the billing month (fixed date month) in the UltraMaXX/UltraLite.
• Setting a customer serial number in the UltraMaXX/UltraLite.

• Activating / deactivating the encryption (radio) of the hMIU

BILLING MONTH (FIXED DATE MONTH)
The hMIU V2 uploads the billing month from the thermal energy meter. To

assure availability of a fixed date index, you shall check the correctness of the
billing month. If needed, billing month can be reprogrammed via inductive head.
