MOUNTING THE MODULE
• Check the cleanness of the optical interfaces from UltraMaXX/UltraLite and
hMIU V2.

• Check correct position of gasket – arround optical interface of the hMIU
• Push the red button of the UltraMaXX/UltraLite.
A
• Make sure that the locking ring of the hMIU
• Match the hMIU
top of the UltraMaXX/UltraLite.
ATTENTION
UltraMaXX/UltraLite
• Make sure that no cable is wrapped around UltraMaXX/UltraLite calculator
to assure orrect fixation of hMIU
• Put the hMIU
• Close the locking ring to assure secure fixation (position B).
• Place the user seal at the junction of locking ring and upper part of the
hMIU V2.

LED LIGHTING FUNCTION
The hMIU V2 has a red LED to indicate the following operating conditions.

Installation / de-installation:
• Lights up for appox. 15 seconds after mounting the hMIU
UltraMaXX/UltraLite.
(The thermal energy meter has been detected and the data upload starts
automatically).
ATTENTION
The detection of the thermal energy meter may take up to 20 sec. If no LED
activity is done by this time, please redo the mounting process!
• 10 seconds after uninstalling the hMIU
(quick flashes). The removal alarm is set in hMIU
Registration in the radio system:
• Flashes once every 2 seconds after recognition from the EquaScan Fnet until
the next data set transfer (max. 5 min)
• Flashes twice every 2 seconds after switching over to the walk-by mode until
the next data set transfer (max. 5 min)
