GENERAL INFORMATION
The EquaScan hMIU
V2 serves to integrate the Itron UltraMaXX/UltraLite
RF
thermal energy meter into the Itron EquaScan radio system for mobile and fixed
network data collection.
The hMIU
V2 can be refitted at any time to all UltraMaXX/UltraLite with standard housing. The hMIU

bled, installed and integrated into the system of existing EquaScan radio meters in a few simple steps. The hMIU
be programmed and read quickly and accurately via the computer using an Itron inductive head (Ref. No. 8090000006) or
an EquaScan Master
. The parameters are programmed using the EquaScan software.

IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR LITHIUM-BATTERIES
The hMIU
V2 contains non-replaceable lithium metal batteries. Do not charge the batteries, do not expose them to

temperatures above 100°C or to mechanical stress. Transport regulations for lithium batteries must be observed.
The certificates required for transport can be requested from Allmess.

INFORMATION ON APPROPRIATE PRODUCT DISPOSAL

placed on the market by Allmess GmbH can be returned to Allmess GmbH within the framework of the take-back concept.
Please observe the laws in force in your country regarding the return and proper disposal of electrical devices. The product
is potentially not harmful to human health and the environment, but if it is illegally disposed of in the environment, it will have a
