Inspection
It is essential to check each truss piece before every installation. An appropriately qualified person should
check the condition of the welds. If any welds exhibit cracks or movement the truss piece should be replaced
or repaired.
Ensure any repairs are carried out only by properly licensed and certified personnel.
Check individual pipe sections for any warping. Any warping of the main pipe must not exceed 5 degrees, the
warping of the oblique pipes must not exceed 10 degrees. If either of these conditions are not met the truss
piece should be replaced or repaired.

Examine all connection holes for warping or stretching. Any hole that is stretched more than 10% of its
standard diameter can no longer be used and the truss piece should be replaced or repaired.
