STEP 5
Push a Connection Rod through each hole in the Truss and Baseplate, from the outside of the Truss inwards.
Use a mallet to strike the rods and seat them securely. If using a hammer, one with a copper head with
extend the useful life of the rod.

Push a Connection Pin through each Connection Rod to stop the rods from falling out. Be sure to check
connection pins before use. Any pins that are crooked or bent should be replaced.
