Before applying a load to truss spans check that all truss pins and rods are installed correctly. Use the Load
Chart on the next page of this manual to determine the maximum permissible load for the selected span and
do not exceed this amount.
NOTE: an improperly balanced load reduces the maximum permissible load on that truss span by half.
When applying the load always distribute the weight evenly over both lower pipes of the truss piece, fixing
the load close to the intersection of the main pipes and oblique pipes.
The load must always be applied with even distribution between the front and back of the truss piece.
Improperly distributing the weight can cause the truss to warp.
