Operating
1. Connect the plug of the hedge
trimmer with the extension cord
and the extension cord with a
wall socket.
Use only extension
which are approved for outdoor
operation.
2. Remove
protection (7) by pressing on
the markings on the blade bar.
Pull out the blade bar protec-
tion.
3. Form a loop with the extension
cord and pass it through the
opening in the handle. Hook
the extension cord on the cable
run.
4. To unlock the ON/OFF switch, first depress the safety button. To
start the hedge trimmer, press the ON/OFF switch (2) and the
auxiliary safety switch (5).
When working with the hedge trimmer please always hold the unit
firmly with both hands, one hand on the handle (1) and the other
hand on the auxiliary handle (6 or 15).
5. For switching off the hedge trimmer, release the ON/OFF switch.
6. Before adjusting the angle of inclination or the horizontal position of
the motor unit, first disconnect the hedge trimmer from power
mains.
Shoulder Strap (Accessory)
1. Mount the holder for the shoulder strap as shown
on the picture.
2. Tighten the holder only hand-tight.
