The convenient two-way feature of the Lady Braun style allows you to use
it without the cord via the built in rechargeable cell unit or with the cord
connected directly to an outlet.
Lady Braun style automatically charges on any outlet with voltages
between 100-240 V ac.
When travelling abroad, there is nothing you have to re-set to recharge the
shaver. You can use it anywhere in the world. You may, however, need a
plug adapter to fit local sockets.
Shaving with the cord
When shaving with the cord (i. e. when the shaver is connected directly to
a mains outlet) the Lady Braun style is ready for unse immediately. If the
shaver should, however, not run immediately due to the discharged cell
unit, recharge the shaver for approximately 1 minute (set switch to «0») to
permit use with the cord again.
Cordless shaving/charging
A full charge will give you approximately 45 minutes of cordless shaving.
Before using the first time, charge the shaver to full capacity:
• Make sure the shaver ist off = «0».
• Plug into an outlet.
• Charge for about 16 hours at first and completely discharge through
normal use in order to get the best performance from the rechargeable
cell unit.
This discharging/charging process should be repeated about every
six months.

Do not expose the shaver to temperatures below 32 °F (0 °C) or above
105 °F (40 °C) for any long periods. The ideal recharging temperature
range ist between 60 °F (15 °C) and 95 °F (35 °C).

This appliance is provided with a nickel-hydride cell unit.
This cell does not contain any harmful heavy metals.
Nevertheless, please do not dispose of this appliance in the
household waste at the end of its useful life.
