Before first Use
Remove the unit and the accessory out of the packaging. Keep packaging
materials out of reach of children. There is risk of suffocation!
Clean all parts of the unit before using for the first time, as described in
chapter "Cleaning" on page 11.
According to factory-made functional tests, residual humidity can remain in the
water tank. Residual humidity in a new device is not a fault.
According to BS EN 1717 it is not permitted to connect a high-pressure
cleaner directly to mains drinking water supply. Short-term connection is
permissible, if a backflow preventer valve is installed in the supply hose.
Respect the requirements of the local water supply company when using high-
pressure cleaners.
Assembling
1. Place the high-pressure cleaner on a solid, level ground. Do not operate
the high-pressure cleaner in upright position but only horizontally.
2. Insert the filter (I) into the water inlet connector (H) and screw the water
inlet connector with pliers using less pressure on the coupling for the water
inlet connector (K).
3. Press the lock-off button (A) outwards in order to lock the trigger (B). The
lock-off button on the gun does not lock the trigger during use. The button
only prevents the trigger from opening unintentionally.
4. Screw the high-pressure hose (E) on the gun. Use a jaw wrench for
screwing. Tighten the screw firmly.
5. Connect the other end of the high-pressure hose to the coupling for the
high-pressure hose connector (L) and tighten it firmly.
6. Insert and turn the lance (C) clockwise into the collet of the gun. To remove
the lance, turn counter clockwise and pull the lance out of the collet.
7. Make sure all hose connections are correctly and properly sealed before
operating the high-pressure cleaner.
