Notes on the line installation
● Set up the device so that the lines can be kept as
short as possible.
● The front cover must be accessible.
● The lines are connected using sleeves with quick
couplings, except at the stop valve.
● At the stop valve, the line is fixed to the connection
with a nut.
Connecting the line (except at the stop valve)
1. To connect a line:
Illustration F
a Remove the clamp on the quick coupling.
b Insert the line into the quick coupling as far as it
will go.
c Fit the clamp on the quick coupling.
d Pull on the line to check that it is seated correctly.
Note
Connecting a sleeve to the device or the tap is done in
the same way.
Pulling off the line (except at the stop valve)
2. To pull off a line:
Illustration G
a Remove the clamp on the quick coupling.
b Push back the quick coupling and hold it in place.
c Pull the line out of the quick coupling.
Note
Pulling off a sleeve on the device or on the tap is done
in the same way.

Pulling off the line (at the stop valve)
4. To pull off the line:
Illustration I
a Unscrew the nuts.
b Pull the line out of the connection.
Shortening the line
5. If necessary, carefully cut the line at right angles to
the longitudinal axis with a sharp cutter knife.
Illustration J
ATTENTION
Do not cut the line at an angle.
Do not deform the line.
Do not use scissors, side cutters or similar tools, as they
deform the cable and change the line cross-section.
Connecting the 3/8" line
1. Connect the 3/8" line to the stop valve.
Illustration K
2. Remove the transport cover from the rear cover, it is
no longer needed.
3. Lay the 3/8" line to the "IN" connection on the de-
vice.
Shorten the 3/8" line if necessary.
4. Connect the 3/8" line to the "IN" connection with the
3/8" angle sleeve.
Connecting the 1/4" line
1. Connect the sleeve to the bottom of the tap.
Illustration L
2. Connect the 1/4" line to the sleeve.
3. Lay the 1/4" line to the "OUT" connection on the de-
vice.
Shorten the 1/4" line if necessary.
4. Connect the 1/4" line to the "OUT" connection with
the 1/4" angle sleeve.
1. Remove the front cover.
Grasp the recessed grip and pull off the front cover
on the device.
To attach, place the front cover on the base and fold

2. Open the cold water inlet:
Illustration N
a Open the cold water inlet angle valve.
b Open the stop valve.
3. Check the device and all connections for leaks.
If there is a leak, close the cold water inlet angle
valve and eliminate the leak.
4. Open the tap and drain off approx. 10 l of water, see
chapter Operation.
The system is flushed, any residues are flushed out
and the filter cartridges are vented.
It is normal for dark-coloured water to come out at
the start, this is due to the use of active carbon.
Only use the water when it comes out fully clear.
5. Check the device and all connections for leaks
again.
6. Close the water tap.
The device is now ready for use.
1. Open the water tap.
Illustration O
a Turn the outlet to the desired position.
b Turn the water removal lever anti-clockwise.
Note
Every day, before using the water for the first time, first
drain off 1 l of water.
The system is flushed and the high quality of the extract-
ed water is ensured.
If no water has been drawn for more than 3 days, first
drain off 10 l of water.
