Clean the basic unit thoroughly prior to use and after each use. Do not use
aggressive chemicals or abrasives in order not to damage the surfaces.
After each use clean the interior of the basic unit with soapy water, when the
unit is still warm. By doing this calcification can be removed more thoroughly.
Wipe the housing of the basic unit with a dry and lightly moistened cloth.
Decalcify the food steamer from time to time depending on how often the
device is used. If you want to decalcify the food steamer do not use vinegar,
but rather a customary decalcifying agent based on citric acid. Follow the
instructions from the manufacturer of the decalcifying agent.
