Maintenance and care

The Current Clamp VC-602 requires no maintenance other than
battery replacement and an occasional cleaning of the case. Un-
authorised modifications or repairs to or in the measuring instru-
ment will void any guarantee claims.
Battery changing can be found under "Handling". To clean the unit
and the display window, use a clean, lint-free, anti-static, dry clea-
ning cloth.

- Capacitors in the unit may still be charged even
when it has been isolated from all voltage sources
and circuits.
Use no carbonaceous cleaners, petrol, alcohol or
similar for cleaning. These will attack the surface of
the measuring instrument. In addition, the fumes
are explosive and damaging to health. When clea-
ning, also use no sharp-edged tools, screwdrivers,
metal brushes or similar.
