Charging the Rechargeable Battery
Before the first use of the stapler, the Rechargeable Battery (7) must undergo
an initial charge. Remove the Rechargeable Battery from the stapler by
pressing the two locking buttons (6) located at the sides of the battery. Place
the Rechargeable Battery into the Charging Unit (11) and only then connect
the Battery Charger's Power Supply (9) to the mains. The red charging lamp
illuminates during the charging procedure. The red lamp extinguishes and the
green lamp illuminates when the charging procedure is complete. If at
commencement of the charging period the battery is completely discharged,
the total recharging time will take approx. 1¼ hours.
Important: If a large number of staples are driven in a short period of time the
rechargeable battery heats up. The temperature of the rechargeable battery is
analyzed by an electronic sensor located inside the charger unit. If the battery
is too hot, the commencement of the charging procedure will be delayed until
the battery temperature drops below 40°C.
Inserting the Staples
The Stapler is suitable for driving of staples with a length of 6mm – 16 mm and
a width of 10 mm. When selecting staples always consider the material into
which the staples will be driven. As a general rule, the harder the material, the
shorter the staples should be.
The Stapler has a bottom-loading staple magazine.
To open the Magazine (1) toggle the Staple Magazine Lock (8) in the direction
of the arrow until the lock opens and the staples can be inserted. After
inserting the staples push the lock forward until it securely locks the magazine.
