Intended Use
The intended use of the solar mole repeller is keeping away moles, voles
and mice from garden, fields and other outdoor areas. It generates sounds
in approx. 25 sec intervals within a frequency range of 400 Hz ± 50 Hz.
The article can cover an effective area of approx. 700 m² (depending on
the condition of the soil).
The solar panel at the top of the housing charges the internal
rechargeable battery of the unit and ensures a continuous operation
during the day, when the sky is clouded and even at night.
Installation
1.
Find a suitable location which provides direct sunlight for several hours
a day to install the unit. Direct sunlight for several hours a day is ideal
to charge the internal battery of the unit. This way the unit can be
operated continuously. Do not position it under bushes, trees, porches,
etc.
2.
Insert the ground spike up to ¾ of the housing into the ground. Do not
beat with a hammer or similar on the ground spike.
3.
To turn the unit on, press the button at the bottom of the housing. You
will hear a confirmation sound for approx. 2 seconds. The solar mole
repeller is now ready for operation.
At a 25 second interval you will hear a sound that indicates that the unit
is working properly. Check the function of the unit regularly. If the unit
does not work after several days, replace the rechargeable battery.

Hints

Do not install the solar mole repeller in frozen soil or in waterlogged
ground.

In hard soil, it might be necessary to form a suitable hole in the ground
to install the ground spike.
