4.4 Fitting monitor

The monitor bracket and fastening materials are
contained in the parts set 1 687 023 540.
1. Position the monitor bracket (Pos. 1) on the rubber
buffers (Pos. 2).
2. Attach the monitor bracket with four M6 x 30 cheese
head bolts. To do this, screw the cheese head bolts
into the rubber buffers and tighten. Tighten the
cheese head bolts until the rubber buffers form a
ridge and touch the wall (Pos. 5) of the frame.
3. Screw four self-locking hexagon nuts (Pos. 3) with
washers onto the M6 x 30 cheese head bolts.
Only screw on each hexagon nut until the locking
action starts to take effect. The rubber buffers will
no longer provide vibration damping action if the
hexagon nuts are screwed on too far.
4. Remove the monitor (Pos. 4) and accessories from
the packaging.
5. Use four M4 x 10 cheese head bolts and clamping
washers to attach the monitor to the monitor
bracket.

6. Remove the mounting frame (refer to Fig. 8, Pos. 1).
