Visual check
Ensure that no paint has run into the entry slots and that the application of paint has not
narrowed the slots.
With thermodifferential and maximum temperature detectors, check the position of the
thermal sensor. It must be in a central position underneath the individual display.

Painting the detector base
Fit a red detector cover onto the detector base. Make sure that the detector cover sits tightly
on the guideways inside the base.
Tape all openings on the underside of the detector base.
NOTICE!
Make sure that no paint gets on the electrical contacts.
Paint the detector base. Ensure the color is applied evenly and avoid paint thicknesses of over
0.1 mm. Only fit the detector base when the paint is completely dry. Please also refer to the
paint's Technical Data Sheet and Safety Data Sheet in Appendix 1 and 2.
