Before first Use

Remove all packaging from the floor steam cleaner. Keep packaging out of reach
of small children. There is risk of suffocation!
Clean all parts of the appliance before using the first time as described below
under "Cleaning" on page 14.
According to functional tests, residual humidity can remain in the water tank.
Residual humidity in a factory-new article is not a fault.

Hints

As the floor steam cleaner only uses active power of steam it is environment-
friendly. You do not need any detergent or aggressive chemicals.
The floor steam cleaner deposits very less calcification in the tank and does not
require distilled water. If the tap water in your area is very limy, we recommend
using distilled water.
The floor steam cleaner is designed to thoroughly clean floor surfaces such as
marble, granite, ceramic, stone, linoleum, sealed hard wood floors and parquet.
Do not clean sensitive surfaces such as unsealed wood floors or laminate with
this floor steam cleaner. Avoid cleaning oiled or on wax treated surfaces. The wax
may be damaged or removed by the hot steam. Check with your floor manufac-
turer to ensure suitability to steam cleaning.

Assembling the Appliance

1. Open the safety seal (2) by turning clockwise and use
the included measuring cup and funnel to fill in the
tank.
Make sure the water tank is empty before filling fresh
water. Only fill not more than 2 measuring cups in the
water tank. This is equivalent to 400 ml. Secure the
safety seal hand tight.
