If the spotlight fails to operate, please check connection and power source. If
these are in normal condition, the illuminant may be defective.
In this case do as follows:
1. Set the main Switch (7) to off and pull the plug from the 12 V / DC socket.
2. Remove the protective rubber ring (1).
3. Use a Phillips or slotted screwdriver to remove the four screws marked in
the picture (rings in Fig. A).
4. Lift the upper housing from the unit, after that you can reach the illuminant
(Fig. B). Unscrew the defective illuminant and replace it with one of the
same type and dimensions (see Technical Data Page 5 and on the type
label). Pleas do not use the glass tube, but only the plastic base to handle
the illuminant. The Glass tube may break if put under stress.
5. Assemble in reverse order. After that the spotlight should work normally. If
not have the unit checked by a professional.
