Safety Notes
Welds that are exposed to large stresses and must comply with safety
requirements may only be completed by specially trained and approved
welders.
Protect yourself from electric shock. Avoid all direct contact with the
welding circuit. The idling voltage between the electrode holder and the
earth terminal is dangerous. Use non-conductive fabrics for body insulat-
ing against ground, walls, conductive appliances etc.
When cleaning, maintaining or when not in use, switch off and disconnect
the unit from power mains.
Do not jam the cord or pull cord around edges. Do not pinch the power
cord in any way and keep it away from hot surfaces. Make sure the cord
does not become a tripping hazard.
Keep the ventilation holes free and clean. Do not cover the unit and do not
place any objects on the unit.
Any work on the mains voltage parts, such as cables, connectors and plug
has to be carried out by a professional.
Should the unit become damaged do not use it and have it repaired by a
professional or contact our customer support department. Do not disas-
semble the unit or try repairing it yourself.
Only use approvable extension cables. Suitable extension cables should

have a cable quality of H07 RN-F; 3 x 1.5 mm . Ask your electrician. Unroll
the cable completely from the cable drum.
For using the unit, we recommend the use of an RCD with a residual
current < 30 mA. In Switzerland the utilisation of an RCD is obligatory.
