Principle of operation

The LCI adapter is connected with a PC / laptop through the USB
interface. The LCI adapter converts the signals and protocols of
the USB interface to the appropriate signals / protocols of the
connected device.
Note
The LCI adapter provides the physical communication interface
only. To configure or parameterize the connected device,
appropriate software (e.g. ABB Device Type Manager) on the
PC / laptop is needed.
