Before first Use

Remove all packing parts from the unit and the container and take the
accessories out of the cooking oil container. Dispose of packaging material not
needed or save not accessible for children. There is a risk of suffocation!
Check the unit for possible transport damages. Clean the unit as described in
chapter "Maintenance, Cleaning and Storing" before using for the first time.

Operation

We recommend using quality vegetable oil that is heat resistant and suitable
for frying. If you use firm cooking fat, it is essential to cut it into small pieces so
the fat can melt easier. Put the pieces directly into the container and not into
the frying basket. If the blocs are put into the wire basket, there will be no heat
transmission. Never switch on the fryer without cooking oil.
1. Fill the fryer at least up to the MIN marking but not higher than up to the
MAX marking that is stamped inside the oil container (9). This is equal to
1200 ml. Do not exceed the MAX marking; otherwise boiling oil may cause
burns.
2. Plug the power plug into a socket earthed according to regulations. Switch
on the deep fryer by turning the thermostat controller (6) clockwise. The
POWER control light (5) turns on and indicates that the unit is connected
to the power mains.
3. Close the lid while heating up.
4. Select the required temperature with the thermostat controller (6). The
heating control light HEAT (9) indicates, that the heating element is turned
on. The desired temperature is achieved when the lamp turns off. When
the temperature decreases, the thermostat automatically switches on until
the set temperature is reached.
5. Attach the detachable handle (4), as pictured on the
right, to the frying basket. Gently press the tongs
together and lead them through the upper retainers
on top of the frying basket. Then insert them into the
lower brackets (see red arrows marks) and release
the tongs.
6. Now fill the frying goods in the frying basket (3). The
frying goods preferably should be free from water.
