A 9007-97 " pull-through" ID card reader can be con
nected to the data display terminal. This requires the
installation of an adapter set in one of the plug-in loca
tions in the control unit.
t You should await the request AWL before passing
the ID card through the reader.
Only when the ID card has been read is the data cal
led up and processed.
Operation:
□ Slip the ID card into the reader's metal slot, with the
magnetic strip at the bottom and on the side indicated
by the arrow.
□ Slide the card home in the direction of the arrow as far
as it will go.
As a rule, the card remains in the reader for as long as
you are using the device.
