Transport Hints
Do to carry the grass shear and hedge trimmer with the fingers on
the safety switch and on the ON/OFF switch.
Always slip the protective covers over the blades during transport. If
necessary, remove the battery.
Maintenance, Cleaning and Storing
Remove the battery and the blades before undertaking any
cleaning or maintenance work.
Use only a moistened cloth to clean the grass shear and hedge
trimmer. Do not use abrasive or aggressive chemicals as benzene
or thinner, which may dissolve plastic parts.
Always keep the ventilation slots clean and free from obstructions.
If necessary, clean the ventilation slots with a soft paint brush.
After cleaning and before each use, apply oil (e.g. sewing machine
oil) to the blades and grease the gearbox with each blade change.
Otherwise, the unit does not require any maintenance or lubrication.
The oiling of the blades prevents rusting and increases the cutting
performance.
Keep the charging socket clean and free.
Store the unit in a dry place and protect it from dust and dirt. Keep it
out of reach of children.
Battery Disposal
1. Remove the battery from the tool.
2. Wrap heavy insulating tape around the battery terminals or enclose
in a sealable plastic bag to prevent possible shorting.
3. Dispose of the battery through your local waste removal authority.
