Inserting and Removing the Blades
Installing the Grass Shear Blades
First remove the battery from the unit before inserting or detaching the
blades. Always wear protective gloves while handling the blade.
1. Turn the grass shear and
hedge
trimmer
down and lift up the clip of
the blade cover (4).
2. Hold the blade cover (4)
firmly and pull the cover
forwards to remove it from
the housing.
3. After taking off the blade you will see the gear wheels. Make sure
that no dirt or grass leaves get in the gears. Important! Remove any
dirt around the gears.
4. Turn the gear wheel as shown in the figure. Please note that the
cam of the gear wheel is positioned completely to the right or to the
left.
5. Move the upper blade
of
the
grass
blades
so
middle line of the plastic
ring is positioned exact-
ly in the centre of the
opening.
