steadily but the capacity of lithium-ion batteries does not decrease.
The capacity remains constantly until the electronics interrupts
discharging. The unit will stop abruptly, if the charging level of the
battery falls below a certain value or if it will be overloaded.
Regardless of the charging condition, the battery can be charged at
any time without damaging the cells.
Inserting the Battery
1. Insert the battery into the grass
and hedge shears by pushing the
battery all the way into the battery
slot.
Observe the guide grooves in the
slot!
2. Remove the battery by simultaneously pressing both releasing
buttons (A) on the battery and pull it out.
Switching ON and OFF
1. To turn the grass and hedge shears on, first press the safety switch
(3) inwards and then depress the ON/OFF switch (2).
2. To turn off the grass and hedge shears, release the ON/OFF
switch.
Please note that the blades will run for some seconds after switch-
ing off the unit. First wait for the blades to come to standstill and
then place the unit down.
Hints on Using
Do not force the grass and hedge shears while trimming hedges or
cutting grass. Always use common sense during work.
Please observe the national regulations concerning noise protec-
tion. The use of the garden tool is restricted on certain days (holi-
days) and at certain times (noonday).
To avoid injuries preferably remove the battery from the unit when
not in use and after work.
