The machines have been designed to operate
over a long period of time with a minimum of
maintenance. Continuous satisfactory operation
depends upon proper machine care and regular
cleaning.
Malfunction
In case the hydraulic jack does not work well, we
give you subjoined some possible causes and
their solutions.
• Hydraulic jack does not lift.
• The cock has not been turned clockwise.
• Turn the cock clockwise.
• Not enough oil in trolley jack.
• Remove the rubber cap on the side of the
cylinder and fill with oil.
• Jack only lifts as far as half the maximum
height.
• Air in the hydraulic system.
• Open the cock by turning it
counterclockwise. Rapidly pump several
times in succession to remove any air.
Close the cock and place the cap back on
the jack. Repeat if necessary.
• Not enough oil in the hydraulic jack.
• Refill oil.
• Trolley jack comes down after lifting.
• Defective or dirty valve.
• Change or clean valve.
• Defective piston seal.
• Replace seal.
• Trolley jack does not rise fast enough.
• Defective plunger packing.
• Change packing.
• Defective or dirty valve.
• Change or clean valve.
Repairs and servicing should only be
carried out by a qualified technician or
service firm.
Lubrication

• Once a month the piston rod should be
lubricated with lubricating oil and grease.
• Change the oil at least once a year. Remove
the cap in the side of the large cylinder and
refill the jack with hydraulic oil.

Oil change
• Put the jack upright.
• Lower the jack and the piston completely.
• Remove the rubber oil cap from the jack (B).
• Refill only with hydraulic oil. (Refill with oil as
far as the edge of the opening.) Remove any
air as described under Troubleshooting (Air in
hydraulic system.).
• Put the cap back in place.
• Regularly clean the pivoted joints and the
screwed extension to keep the jack in good
condition.
Only hydraulic oil should be used for
refilling. Do not use brake fluid.
Environment
To prevent damage during transport, the appliance
is delivered in a solid packaging which consists
largely of reusable material. Therefore please
make use of options for recycling the packaging.
