4. Installation
4.1 Grating holder
Warning
• Take care that components such as airbags, safety areas, controls, instruments, etc. and visibility are not
blocked or restricted.
• While driving a car or using sports equipment, do not allow yourself to be distracted by your product and
keep an eye on the traffic situation and your surroundings.
Note
• Before installing the bracket, check the installation options in your vehicle. If in doubt, check the
vehicle's instruction manual or contact the vehicle manufacturer.
• Check the load-bearing capacity of the slats before inserting a device into the bracket. This installation
version is only recommended for devices < 300 g.
• Never apply force when using the product or during installation.
• Hold the open button (A) on the grating clamp down.
• Push the open clamp carefully onto the ventilation slats and release the open button.
• To remove, press and hold the open button and pull the holder carefully out of the grating.
4.2 Inserting / removing devices
• Push the slider on the right and left sides of the smartphone holder into the housing until they engage with
an audible and tangible click. This extends the holding jaws (B/C).
• Insert your device and press it on gently (D). The holding jaws close automatically (E).
Note
Continually check that the smartphone holder is securely seated and the device is securely held.
• To remove the device, push the slider on the right and left sides of the smartphone holder into the housing
until they engage with an audible and tangible click. Hold your device firmly as you do so.
• The holding jaws open automatically and release the device.
5. Care and maintenance
Only clean this product using a lint-free, slightly damp cloth and do not use any harsh cleaners.
