Test 3: Check your network configuration
If your hardware and your ISDN connection are working properly, check the
configuration of your connection. To do so, repeat the steps on page 18.

Troubleshooting
If you verified all items, your connection is probably
configured properly.
If modifying your network configuration did not solve
your problem, see the suggestions below.
Solutions:
• If you are using protocols other than TCP/IP, verify their
configurations as well.
• If you checked your network configuration, and you still
cannot connect using 'Eicon channel 0', you might need
to use a V.120 ISDN connection (not a 64 K PPP
connection); verify this with your Internet service
provider (ISP) or network administrator.
If this is the case, select the 'Eicon ISDN V.120 modem'
in the 'General' tab of the properties dialog box for your
connection (for instructions on how to open the proper-
ties dialog box, see page 18).
• If you performed all the tests and still cannot solve the
problem, contact your ISP or network administrator to
ensure that you configured all the required items.
