Operation Guide

Before using for the first time
Always clean your kettle before first use by boiling 0.8L water twice and then draining the water.
Filling The Kettle
Position the power base on a flat, heat resistant surface, as close as possible to the power
outlet.
Add at least 200ml cold filtered water to the Kettle; do not fill above the MAX (0.8L) water
level. the amount of water can be measured by the level mark on the inside of the kettle,
Wipe any excess water from the Kettle's body and power base.
Put the lid back on the kettle and ensure that the lid is properly and firmly closed .
Place the kettle securely on the power base.
Boiling Water
Insert the plug into a wall socket.
Press the On/Off (O/I) button into the On (I position). The power indicator lights up and the
water begins to heat.
As soon as the water temperature reaches the boiling point, the kettle automatically shuts
off, the on/off button automatically jumps back to the Off (0 position), the indicator also
automatically turns off. No beeping. The water kettle can also be switched off manually by
lifting the on/off button back to the "0"position, or pause the heating by lifting the kettle
directly.
Warning: The kettle filled with boiling water is hot. Lift only with the handle. Do not touch any
other part of the kettle.
Important: Hold the kettle handle firmly and pour slowly with a large amount of water.

Boil-dry Protection

Should you accidentally let the kettle operate without water, the boil-dry protection will
automatically switch off the power. If this occurs, please allow the kettle to cool completely and
then fill it with cool water before re-boiling.
