• Do not operate the appliance when the wheels are not
attached.
• Only use the appliance in an upright position.
• Never over-humidify residential rooms. Excessive humidity
of the air can damage the surroundings.
• Fill the water tank with water only. Never fill the water tank
with any other liquid and do not mix any substances with
the water.
• Always empty the water tank before refilling the water tank.
• Always remove the residual water from the water tank every
three days and refill it.
Safety instructions regarding maintenance

• Switch off and unplug the appliance before service and
when replacing parts.
• Never immerse the appliance in water.
• Do not use abrasive chemical cleaning agents such as
ammonia, acid or acetone when cleaning the appliance. This
can damage the appliance.
• Replace the water tank after 10 years. The plastic of the
water tank ages and the water tank may start to leak.
• Choking hazard. Risk of serious internal chemical burns.
Always keep button cell battery out of reach of children
to reduce the chance of swallowing. Seek immediate
medical attention when you suspect that a battery has been
swallowed.
• Always empty the water tank before moving the appliance.

1. Remove all packaging and stickers except the type plate.

1. Place the appliance on a stable, flat, and moisture resistant surface.
2. If you want to use the cool function, fill the water tank with water. To fill the water tank, see chapter
Filling the water tank.
3. Plug the power cable into a power outlet. The appliance beeps twice and the LED display

lights up for one second.
