Bosch injectors adapter
The Bosch injector adapter (M) has a double
connection.
First, you need to screw the bottom part of the
adapter.
Then, you must screw the upper part of the
adapter.
Keep the nut in place while rotating the bot-
tom part the adapter counter-clockwise.
If the bottom part does not rotate, proceed
with the extraction of the injector.
If the bottom part rotates, count the number of
turns (counter-clockwise) you need to do until
it does not rotate.
Extract the upper part of the adapter.
Add a shim for each turn that you have done
(1 turn = 1 shim).
Tighten the bottom part of the adapter (cloc-
kwise) with a 7mm hexagonal wrench until it
stops turning.
Tighten the upper part of the adapter on it.
This procedure is necessary to ensure that
both parts of the adapter are in contact with
each other without clearance.
So, we can ensure a uniform grip on the injec-
tor during the extraction.
