• DANGER! Never modify the mains cable or plug – if it does not fit into the mains socket, have
a qualified technician install a suitable mains socket. Improper connection may lead to electric
shock. This battery charger is intended for operation on a 230 V mains supply system.

5.7 DURATION OF THE CHARGING PROCESS

• The following instructions allow you to determine the charging time for a specific battery.
• Test the battery's state of charge with a hydrometer or an electronic battery tester.
• Determine the battery's capacity by ampere hours or reserve capacity. If these values are not
indicated on the battery, contact your local battery dealer to obtain this information. These are
the only values that can be used to determine the duration of the charging process.
• Insert the battery capacity, the battery state of charge and the ampere setting to be selected
on the charger into the formula below.

6.2 TESTING THE BATTERY
