This Air Quality Monitor can be wall-mounted or placed on a desk.
The CO2 monitor needs airflow to function correctly, therefore it should not be installed in an area
that may restrict the free movement of air.
Air quality monitor must be installed:
If wall-mounted:
- Between 1.4 m and 1.6 m from the floor.
- More than 15 cm from the ceiling and walls.
Air quality monitor should not be installed:
•
Where it may be obstructed, e.g. by curtains, blinds or furniture.
•
Next to a door or window, or next to an air vent or similar ventilation opening.
•
In very dusty rooms.
•
Near heat sources and in direct sunlight or other thermal radiation.
•
In rooms with risk of explosion.
•
In industrial environments with prolonged high CO2 concentrations.
Transport, installation process and other operations during monitor operation may reduce the
detection accuracy of the NDIR carbon dioxide sensor.
Hel calibration algorithm corrects drift during a 24-hour operating period.
If obvious deviations occur at start-up or 1500 PPM is exceeded, this can be quickly corrected by
manual calibration. For details, see Manual CO2 measurement calibration.
