a) Single finger
Single works only in rhythm mode.
In rhythm playback mode, select the Single button (19) to specify the chord
for the corresponding chord accompaniment by means of a single key in the
left keyboard area (keyboard keys 1 to 24 from the left). Here, the pressed
key sets the root of the accompaniment chord in major.
b) Multi-finger
Finger works only in rhythm mode.
In rhythm playback mode, select the Finger button (29) to specify the chord
for the corresponding chord accompaniment using three keys in the left
keyboard area (keyboard keys 1 to 24 from the left) that define a major chord
in the root position. As long as you do not specify a three-voice root chord,
only the drum rhythm will sound. Chord inversions are not recognized. Minor,
seventh and other chord extensions are only evaluated as major chords.
8) Metronome
Press Metronome (17) to start the metronome. By pressing the Metronome
button several times, you can select different metronome modes (2/4 or 4/4).
Press the Play-Pause button (09) to stop the metronome.
9) Tempo setting
The tempo of the rhythm accompaniment, the metronome and the
demo/tutorial songs can be changed using the Up/Down buttons (23/24).
10) Recording
In record mode, the instrument can store up to 346 keystrokes. Two
recording modes (Rec and Program) are available for this purpose. Please
note that both modes use the same memory. A melody recording will erase
any stored percussion accompaniment pattern and vice versa.
a) Melody recording (Rec)
By pressing the Rec button (10) you switch to the melody recording mode.
Recording starts as soon as you press a key on the keyboard.
Press the Playback button (12) during recording to play back the recorded
data.
You can stop playback by pressing the Play-Pause button (09). Then press
the Playback button (12) to restart playback.
Pressing the Rec button (10) again clears the memory and returns you to the
melody recording mode.
