Step 1: Prepare your skin
• The skin should be clean, dry and free of any cosmetic product.
• Make sure that no cream, moisturizer, oil, or any other substance has been previously
applied to the skin (including during the 12 hours prior to the session).
• Always shave the area to be treated with running water, on the day of the session or
one hour before the session for the most sensitive skin (do not use any methods other
than shaving to remove the hair, as it would make the treatment with pulsed light
inefficient).
• Dry the skin (and do not apply any substance on the skin).
A first test session on a small area of the skin the day before the full session will allow
you to make sure that your skin supports the treatment. The absence of skin reaction
will enable a perfectly safe use of the device.
