1.1 Important information
ATTENTION!
Work an electrical systems must only be carried out by a certified
electrician.
2 Scope of supply
1x pipe assembly DFS 80
1x SIKA VHS 09 MK flow switch incl. O-ring
(loosely premounted)

Installation

3.1 Installation regulation / mounting position
The flow rate switch must be installed in accordance with the di-
rection of flow (see flow direction arrow on casing). A gap of at
least 360 mm is to be provided before and after the flow rate
switch. When installing the flow rate switch, it should be ensured
that the flow direction arrow is parallel to the pipe axis and that it
is pointing in the direction of flow. It is recommended to install the
flow switch in the heating flow (outlet of the heat pump).
3.2 Electrical connection
Depending on their use, contacts 1 + 2 must be connected as
F10.1 (primary circuit) or F10.2 (secondary circuit) between ter-
minal connections X3/G and X3/F10.1 or X3/F10.2.

ATTENTION!
Non-observance of this information can cause faults in heat pump's
operation.
The enclosed pipe assembly MUST be used.
The pipe section in which the switch is placed must be fitted hor-
izontally.
The casing of the switch must point upwards.
The cap nut 3/4" thread made of brass must be tightened with a
tightening torque of 25...30 Nm.
