INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
When you put the appliance into operation for the first time, set the revolving regulator to
level 3 and switch on the toaster at least 4-5 times (without any bread in) with a window
open and then leave to cool down. Moderate smoke for a short time does not mean any
defect.
Toasting regulator (P1)
Set the required toasting level by turning the regulator clockwise. If in doubt, start from the
lowest level.
Level 1 – the shortest toasting time, the toasted bread is the lightest.
Level 2-3 – slightly toasted bread.
Level 4-5 – moderately toasted bread.
Level 6-7 – the longest preparation time, the toasted bread is the darkest.
Toasting bread
Select the toasting level by the regulator P1. Put slices of bread to the toasting slot. Push
P3 guide down so that it is secured in the lower position. The appliance starts toasting
immediately. After the set time the appliance is turned off automatically and the guide goes up.
CANCEL BUTTON
Toasting can be reset anytime during toasting by pressing button CANCEL.
After use, leave the toaster to cool and then unplug.
MAINTENANCE
Clean the appliance only when it has cooled down! Clean the appliance regularly after
each use. Do not use rough and aggressive detergents (e.g. sharp objects, peelers, caustic
agents for cleaning ovens, or other solvents). Pull out the breadcrumbs tray P4 from the
lower part of the appliance and remove the remaining pastry. Do not turn the appliance upside
down and do not throw out the breadcrumbs in this way. Push the tray in properly. Clean the
outside of the appliance gently with a damp and soft cloth, and then wipe it with a dry cloth.
Clean the surface by wiping it with a soft and wet cloth. If the power cord is soiled, wipe it with
a wet cloth.
More extensive maintenance or maintenance requiring intervention in the inner parts
of the appliance must be carried out by professional service! Failure to comply with the
instructions of the manufacturer will lead to expiration of the right to guarantee repair!
