GENERAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS FOR TILE SAW LEG STAND

WARNING: To reduce the risk of personal injury:
1 . Follow the mounting instructions carefully. Fasten the saw to the stand securely as
instructed. Proper assembly is important to prevent the risk of a collapse of the saw stand.
2 . Ensure all stand fasteners are securely fastened and that all stand mechanisms
are in proper working order before mounting or operating the table saw. Proper
assembly is important to prevent the risk of a collapse of the saw stand.
3 . Attach the power tool securely to the saw stand before using it. Sliding off of the
power tool on the saw stand can lead to loss of control.
4 . DO NOT use the stand on uneven surfaces. The stand is designed to be used on a
flat, stable surface. If the saw stand can slide around or wobbles, the power tool or the
workpiece cannot be evenly and securely guided.
5 . Pull the plug from the mains receptacle and/or remove the battery from the
power tool before making adjustments on the tool or changing tool accessories.
Unintentional switching on of the power tool is the cause of many accidents.
6 . Ensure that long and heavy workpieces do not affect the balance of the saw stand.
Long and/or heavy workpieces must be supported at the free end.
7 . Keep your fingers clear of the hinge points while folding the legs of the saw stand.
Danger of fingers being crushed or contused.
8 . Do not overload the saw stand and do not use it as a ladder or scaffolding.
Overloading or standing on the saw stand can lead to personal injury.
9 . Do not use the saw stand if it is damaged or bent. Deteriorated stability of the saw
stand can lead to personal injury.

Description (Fig. A)
The tile saw leg stand D240001 has been designed to extend the versatility of your D
tile saw.

ASSEMBLY AND ADJUSTMENT
Setting Up the Leg Stand (Fig. A, B)
The leg extensions have a series of holes to allow multiple stand heights.
1. Place the leg stand upside down on the floor.
2. Unfold the legs

4. Align the holes in the leg and the extension at the required height.
5. Insert a hex head bolt

through a flat washer

7. Place the stand in an upright position.
8. Tighten the nuts.
9. Check that the stand is stable. Make sure that the leg extensions are adjusted to the
same height.
To Use Tile Saw Stand
D24000 (Fig. A, C, D)
1. Unfold the saw stand until it is fully opened. Place it upright, as shown in Figure A.
2. Place the Wet Tile Saw pan

on the stand. The rear feet on the pan have two semi-
circular reliefs

; place these over the rear rail as shown in Figure C. The front rail should
rest behind the front feet on the pan.
Maximum Tile Size: 63.5 cm x 63.5 cm x 1.2 cm

CAUTION: ALWAYS make sure the pan stand bracket is rotated as shown in Fig. E to
keep the saw from tipping forward off the stand.

CAUTION: Tip Hazard. Excessive weight on the cart when the cart position knob
is rotated to position 1 could cause a tip hazard. Maximum tile size that can be cut
is 90 cm x 90 cm x 1.0 cm (refer to Maximum Tile Size). Do not cut tile or other
materials that are thicker than 1 cm thick while the cutting cart stop knob is in position
1. When cutting narrow materials, rotate the cutting cart stop knob to position 2.
This will allow the cart to stay on the rail when pulled toward the user in front of the
cutting wheel.

CAUTION: Always lock cutting cart before moving or transporting saw.
1. Unfold the saw stand until it is fully opened. Place it upright, as shown in Figure A.
2. Place the saw into the stand as shown in Figure E. The pan has two brackets 
wrap around the front cross bar.
3. Rotate the pan stand bracket
