Thank you for purchasing the KLAMER milk frother.
For your own safety, please read this manual carefully BEFORE using the
device. The use of this milk frother has many advantages. It is suitable for:
- Preparing cold or warm milk froth
- Heating milk and cacao drinks
- Making milk mix drinks

Important Safeguards

Warning
1. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children under
8 years of age) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack
of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or
instruction concerning use of the appliance.
2. Check that the voltage specified on the device matches the local power
outlet voltage before connecting the device.
3. Do not use the device if the plug, the power cord or the device itself is
damaged. Always make sure that the plug is properly inserted into a power
outlet.
4. Close supervision is required when an appliance is used by or near children.
Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the
appliance.
5. Do not let the cord hang over the edge of the table and keep it away from
hot surfaces.
6. To protect against electric shock, do not immerse cord, plug or appliance in
water or other liquids. Do not connect the unit to the power outlet and do
not operate the control panel with wet hands.

7. Never connect this unit to an external timer or separate remote control
system to avoid danger. To disconnect, unplug the power cord from the wall
outlet.
8. This appliance is designed exclusively for the production of hot or cold milk
foam and milk-mixed beverages.
9. Do not expose the appliance to extreme conditions. To be avoided are: High
humidity, wetness, extreme temperatures, direct sunlight.
10. Do not immerse the base plate in water or hold it under running water as
this may result in electric shock.
11. Do not touch the housing during operation, as the surface of the device will
become very hot.
12. Make sure that the device does not come into contact with any other object
during operation, as the surface becomes hot during operation.
13. Do not place the device on surfaces that may become hot (e.g.: stove top).
14. The device may be damaged if used improperly. Do not bend the power
cord.
15. Do not use the milk container in the microwave. Only use the supplied milk
container for operation.
16. There is a choking hazard due to swallowing or inhaling small parts or foils.
Keep the packaging foil and small parts in the appliance away from
children.
17. This device is intended for household use.
CAUTION: The device is very hot during and after operation.
Dry protection function
The unit is equipped with a dry-boil protection function, which is triggered
when the unit threatens to overheat due to insufficient liquid filling.
In this case, the device switches off automatically and the LED light behind
the button of the currently selected program flashes several times. It then
stops flashing after a few seconds.
If this happens, remove the milk container from the base plate and allow the
unit to cool down before using it again. Fill the milk container with at least
75ml of milk (MIN mark), but no more than 150ml (MAX mark) of liquid before
starting a new operation.
