Step 1: Saw the pole according to the desired passage height. The ideal pole height
f rom an aesthetic perspective and for optimum shading is 1.90 m, giving a passage
height of 1.80 m. Depending on availability, poles of 2.50 m or 3 m are supplied. If you do
not anchor the poles in the ground, you must therefore saw them to a length of 1.90 m
if you require a passage height of 1.80 m. Then, according to the selected option:
WITH SCREW PLATES:
Screw the plate to your tiles which must be a minimum
of 15 cm thick with M10 expansion plugs + appropriate
metal screws (not supplied) and screw the poles to the
plates using the 2 supplied screws.
WITH SELF-SUPPORTING PEDESTALS:
Screw the pole into the pedestals with the 2 supplied
screws.
ANCHOR INTO THE GROUND AT A MINIMUM DEPTH
OF 50 CM.
Concrete mix for a block of 50 x 50 cm or a tile: 350 kg/m³
PLEASE NOTE! TO PREVENT PREMATURE WEAR OF THE POLES, PLACE THE UNSAWN END
ON/IN THE GROUND.
