BEWARE of hot steam! The device operates
with hot steam! Operate the device with
caution.
■ The iron must not be left unattended while it is
connected to the mains power supply.
■ The plug must be pulled out of the plug socket
before the water tank is fi lled with water.
■ The fi ller opening must not be opened during use.
■ The iron must be used and placed down on a
fl at stable surface.
■ When the iron is placed on a storage device,
care must be taken to ensure that the surface
on which the storage device is placed is stable.
■ The iron must not be used if it has been dropped,
shows visible signs of damage or leaks.
■ Do not make any modifi cations to the device.
Also do not replace the connecting cable your-
self. If the device or the connecting cable of the
device are damaged, they must be replaced by
the manufacturer, customer service department
or a similarly qualifi ed person (e.g. specialist
workshop) in order to avoid any hazards.
■ Allow the device to cool down completely before
the water tank is emptied and / or the device is
cleaned and stored away.
