Connecting the energizer to the fence
1 Connect the Fence earth terminal (green) to a separate earth system that is at
least 10 m (33') away from other earth systems.
2 Connect the Fence output terminal (red) to the fence.
3 Connect the energizer to a 12 V battery using the battery leads. Attach the + (red)
clip to the positive terminal of the battery, and the – (black) clip to its negative
terminal.
4 To prevent damage caused by stock interference and bad weather, house the
battery and the energizer in protective enclosures.
