• Before inserting the plug into the mains socket, check that the
power supply complies with the information on the rating plate.
• Remove the plug from the mains socket when the appliance is
not in use and before cleaning.
• Parts of the appliance get hot during use. Therefore, only hold
the handle when opening and closing the top cover.
• Do not immerse the appliance, cord or plug in water or any
other liquid. This may cause electric shocks that present a
danger to life!
• Children are not able to understand the risks of improper
handling of electrical appliances. Therefore, children should
never use electrical household appliances unsupervised.
• Do not use the appliance if the cord or plug is showing signs of
damage, if it has fallen to the floor, or it has been damaged by
other means. In such cases, take the appliance to an authorised
specialist for inspection and repair.
• Make sure that the cord does not hang over sharp edges and
keep it away from hot objects and naked flames.
• Make sure that the cord does not accidentally get caught between
the baking plates or touch the edges of the baking plates.
• Place the appliance on a stable, flat surface and away from hot
objects or naked flames (e.g. hobs).
• Never leave the appliance unattended while it is in use.
• The temperature may be high on the outside of the appliance
while it is in use.
