MPPT Solar Charging Mode (NOQON NBS30 & NBS60)
Noqon NBS battery boosters have an integrated MPPT solar charge controller with a higher
efficiency than conventional solar controllers. If the vehicle is no longer driving and no D+ signal is
output, solar charging will start automatically, provided there is sufficient sunlight.
If the MPPT solar charge does not work, please check if:
the D+ signal is less than 8V. Solar charging only takes place if no B2B charging is carried

out.
• the positive and negative poles of the solar module are correct.
the open circuit voltage of the solar module is less than 50V.
The battery voltage must be less than 15.5V.
• the charging current of the solar module does not reach the specification value.
• the main battery is almost fully charged.
• the connection diameter of the solar module is too small. This may affect the charging
current.
the solar module receives sufficient sunlight.
