Assembly/commissioning

The AQiX water dosing system is set to the unit of "litres"
ex works.
The device is delivered with a standard ½" hose connec-
琀椀on. This can be unscrewed and replaced with a di昀昀erent
tap connec琀椀on, such as with a bayonet coupling.
Standard hose couplings with 1/2" or 3/4" hose connec琀椀on
can be used as a quick-release or bayonet coupling.
Connect the water hose to the meter. The water hose may
not be pressurised.
Only connect the hose to the hose coupling. No hose may
be connected to the water outlet (7).
IMPORTANT: ven琀椀ng
A昀琀er every connec琀椀on made to the water hose, 昀椀rst make
sure that the air can escape from the device.
• Press the "START/PAUSE" (12) bu琀琀on to switch on the
device.
• Set the display to "0" with the "0.00 - Man." (10) bu琀琀on.
• Keep holding the "START/PAUSE" (12) bu琀琀on un琀椀l the
water 昀氀ows out without any interrup琀椀on.
Opera琀椀on
Switching on the device:
The AQiX water dosing system is switched on using the
"START/PAUSE" (12) bu琀琀on. The unit 昀椀rst appears in the
display and then the last set quan琀椀ty.
Se琀�ng the metering quan琀椀ty
Adjust the metering quan琀椀ty using both keys (11) "+"
and "-". The water quan琀椀ty can be set in increments of
0.1 litres. Keep the bu琀琀on depressed to advance quickly.
Start dosing:
Press the "START/PAUSE" (12) bu琀琀on to start the metering.
You can interrupt the metering process. Press the "START/
PAUSE" bu琀琀on to do this. Pressing the bu琀琀on again starts
the metering process where it was interrupted.
Storing a metering quan琀椀ty
Frequently used metering quan琀椀琀椀es can be saved by press-
ing the "M1" / "M2" (8+9) bu琀琀ons. Set the desired quan琀椀ty
value with the "+" and "-" bu琀琀on. Then hold "M1" / "M2"
for 2 seconds un琀椀l the value in the display 昀氀ashes. Press
"M1" / "M2" to call up the stored value. It will appear in
the display
Manual metering:
Press the "Man/0.00" bu琀琀on (10). Then press "START/
PAUSE" (12). The water will run for as long as you hold
down the bu琀琀on. The dispensed quan琀椀ty of water is
shown in the display.
Conver琀椀ng the unit of measure:
The water dosing system can be used with three di昀昀erent
units of measure: Litres, quarts and US gallons.
To switch between them, hold the "Man/0.00" bu琀琀on for
5 seconds un琀椀l 0_ _ appears in the display. Set the desired
number for the respec琀椀ve unit of measure using "+" and
"-". Con昀椀rm each digit with the "START/PAUSE" bu琀琀on. Fi-
nally press Play twice. The device switches o昀昀 and changes
the mode.
Value 100 = litres | 200 = quarts | 300 = gallons
You can hold the device in your hand for metering or hang
it on the mixing bucket or on the mixing bucket of a mixer.
The device is hung between the water outlet (7) and the
retaining bracket (6)
Hanging on a bucket
