Tips for applying the 3M Sticker
Make sure the target surface is dry and clean. Apply pressure to Motion Sensor for 60
seconds after installation. Keep it away from any heat source such as light bulbs.
Battery Replacement, Firmware Update and Factory
Reset

Battery Replacement

Remove the Battery Case. Follow the "+" and "-" marks, replace the old batteries with
new ones. Put the Battery Case back.

Firmware Update

Make sure you have the up to date firmware by upgrading in time.
Factory Reset
Long press the Reset Button for 15 seconds or until the LED Indicator Light is on.
Note: After the device is reset, all settings will be set to the default values and the activity
logs will be erased.
Q&A
Q: It is not sensitive within the detection range set during high temperature.
A: When the room temperature reaches 97°F (36°C), it is very similar to the human body
temperature. Motion Sensor will be less sensitive in this case. Please cool your room by
turning on the AC or fan.
Q: There is a lot of false alarms.
A: Adjust the angle of Motion Sensor to avoid window area, heat sources, and any areas
with constantly moving objects.
Q: How to enable Cloud Service?
A: You need to purchase a SwitchBot Hub Mini (sold separately) and set it up under your
account. Then navigate to the app homepage. If you see a cloud icon showing up on the
Motion Sensor device card, it means it is being scanned by Hub Mini. Navigate to the
Settings page of Motion Sensor and you can enable Cloud Service from there.
